Ian Mills and Mike Simpson shared a career in BP Norge before (ultimately) establishing EXCEED and EXCEED Norge. With an impressive track record in the international oil and gas industry, they share close to three decades of NCS wells experience between them.

Applying a long-earned understanding of the NCS “eco-system”, EXCEED Norge was set up in 2020. Our objective is to fill the service gaps for small and medium operators, expand the well management concept and strategically open up the industry mindset to alternative business models.

Combining the local presence of EXCEED Norge with Aberdeen-based EXCEED provides a resourceful pan-North Sea alliance. This expands further, thanks to the global footprint of EXCEED’s international subsidiaries and project experience.

What we are aiming for is an acceleration of the exploration lifecycle with “skin in the game” collaboration and alliances, whilst considering the financial and contractual transparency required for customer, governmental and auditor review.

EXCEED's management team combines +1000 years of operational industry experience with extensive commercial experience gained across various sectors.
